VISIT THE BREWERY

HARBWR invites you to visit the brewery. We are a family-run business with over 25 years experience in the high-end food, drink and tourism sector. We have enjoyed long-term success with our foodie pubs Harbwr Tap and Kitchen (Formerly The Buccaneer Inn), The Hope & Anchor in Tenby and The HARBWR Bar & Kitchen Saundersfoot, establishing a microbrewery seemed a natural next step.

THE BREWERY

Established in 2015, HARBWR Brewery is situated in a refurbished premises in Sergeants Lane. The brewery is steeped in history, and is designed to portray the rich heritage of Tenby as a seaside town. Conversely, HARBWR Brewery’s modern brews bring guests right back to the present.

We source the best raw materials from British grown malted barley and the finest quality hops from the UK and around the globe. Our skilled team of brewers are given creative licence to brew modern and classic styles as well as our ever popular range of core beers, so whether you’re visiting one of our pubs for the first time or coming for your weekly pint, there’s always something to suit your taste.

THE BUILD

The renovation of the old bottling shed began in early 2015. Our premises took shape under the expert supervision of local architect David Morgan, and building contractor Martin Hurlow. Local tradesmen and expertise were used whenever possible.

The ensuing months saw a very sensitive renovation taking place. The owners, architect and builder took great pains to preserve old features, stonework and cobbles. Equally, modern, maritime-industrial touches were introduced, and married up with the old

Tucked away in Sergeant’s Lane, just above the harbour, a state-of-the-art 5-barrel brewery is housed in a sympathetically converted eighteenth century warehouse– now packed with character and charm.
