No less than four different hop varieties are used in this beer, all contributing to a well-balanced bitterness with a slight spicy note and a very pleasant herbal blackcurrant.

Brewed blending traditional Maris Otter with Crystal malt, which creates a delicious blend of malty sweetness along with caramel and honey. German Cara Red then gives this ale its deep ruby red colour with a small amount of Black malt for those roasted flavours you associate with darker ales.
